Rolling Stone has come out with a pretty well put together list of the top 50 stand-up comedians of all time. I was generally happy with the list but thought that Emo Phillips should not have been in the top 5 (just kidding). Some of my all-time favourites that made the list include Garry Shandling (was just watching the DVDs of "It's Garry Shandling's Show" a few days ago, so funny) at no. 40, Patton Oswald (34), Eddie Izzard (24), and Albert Brooks (19) to just name a few. (Thankfully no Jay Leno) Check it out but set aside some time. I'm sure you will find yourself going down a You Tube rabbit hole watching all these great acts.
